Mother’s & Daughter’s
My Valerie Grace, this little project of mine is actually all for you. When I write a post I envision you as an adult. I anticipate that you will face many struggles and bumps as you go along your path in life. It is your path, so please go where God is leading you. It may be extraordinarily different from mine or very similar. I look forward to watching your life unfold before my eyes. My hope is that you will have these snapshots of me to help you along. You are never alone. You will never be the only person in the world to feel the way you do (although often times you will feel that way). I want you to know how I have handled life, marriage, children, and staying true to myself.
I can’t tell you how many times I have been in an arguement with your Dad or am struggling how to best parent you and your brother and all I want to know is how my mom (or Nan) worked their way through it. I want to know that they faced hard decisions and hard times but came out the other side. Even it it was just eventually and especially if it was for the better.
There is something unique about Mother’s & Daughter’s that keep us together. You are the brightest spot of sunshine in my life. This is a photo of us working together to bring you into this world (and we did both work at it)!
